Feature: Essential Firefox Extensions

At BSOD.com we highly reccomend you do not use Internet Explorer as it is very insecure. Another great browser to use instead is Mozilla Firefox.
A great feature of Firefox is that it allows you to add on user-made extensions. We'll be telling you what the best ones available are.
- IE Tab - Some Websites do not work properly with Firefox. This extension gets around this problem, with just a click of a button the page will be loaded using Internet Explorer within Firefox.
- Download Status Bar - Adds a handy bar at the bottom which shows how your downloads are going.
- Faster Fox - This extensions changes some of the settings and makes Firefox load pages quicker using techniques which I'm sure the link can explain many times better than I can.
- No Script - Some websites contain nasty little programs which can do your computer harm. No Script will block all of these scripts from running unless you have marked the site as safe.
- Ablock with Ablock Filterset Updater - Adblock is a great extension which allows you to to block ads and any other content on a site you do not wish to see. The Filterset Updater automatically downloads a list of practically all ads every 4-7 days meaning they are blocked automatically.
- Link Alert - This extension, adds a small icon to your mouse cursor when you are hovering over a hyperlink. This allows you to quickly determine what you will be taken to, be it an image, new window, or a zip file. So it should also make sure you don't accidently download a malicious program.
